Dr. Bernhard Neuhierl studied biology, majoring in microbiology, at the Ludwig-Maximilians-University (LMU), Munich. He received his Diploma and his doctorate degree at the Institute of Microbiology in the field of selenium metabolism in microorganisms and in higher plants and worked as a research scientist in the field of virology at the Helmholtz-Zentrum Munich, at Vaecgene Biotech, Munich, and at the German Cancer Research Center (DKFZ), Heidelberg. <\/p>\n

He started his career in the field of intellectual property in 2008, working at the Office for Technology Transfer of the DKFZ, before joining our team (formerly Herzog Fiesser & Partner) in Mannheim in 2012. <\/span><\/p>


<\/span><\/p>

His areas of expertise include prosecution, defence, enforcement of inventions, freedom to operate and infringement analyses as well as employee\u2019s invention law and license agreement consulting. His areas of technical expertise are biotechnology, pharma diagnostics, and life sciences.<\/span><\/p>\n
