Dr. Schmalzgruber studied chemistry at Ludwig Maximilian University, where she graduated with a master's degree specializing in inorganic chemistry. In 2024, she obtained her doctorate, also specializing in inorganic chemistry, from Ludwig Maximilian University.

In 2022, she started her career in intellectual property law at our firm. Her areas of expertise include drafting patent applications, managing them through grant proceedings, and handling opposition and appeal proceedings, with a focus on inorganic chemistry, industrial chemistry, and heterogeneous catalysis.
