Your main tasks

  • Advising international and national clients on questions of intellectual property, in particular in the field of patents
  • Preparation of patent applications from their drafting to their filing, and prosecution thereof at national and international level in cooperation with inventors, technical experts and colleagues in Germany and abroad
  • Representing our clients in examination, opposition, and appeal proceedings
  • Preparation of expert opinions on the validity of intellectual property rights and freedom to operate from third-party rights (FTO)

 

Your profile

  • You are an authorized representative before the European Patent Office and/or are registered as a German patent attorney
  • You have completed broad scientific studies in the field of chemistry and/or chemical engineering
  • You have very good knowledge of the English language, and at least good knowledge of the German language
  • You have a very rapid learning ability
  • You are used to working diligently and independently
  • You enjoy becoming acquainted with new technical issues in close cooperation with technical experts
